As you might expect from an artist sharing the name with that of a Greek God, Adonis is no ordinary musician.
“My Different Lover” is the first single from his eagerly awaited album, “The Genies’ Out the Bottle” and perfectly showcases Adonis’ spiritual, positive philosophy and musical skills. In an industry that increasingly relies on scandal and salaciousness, “My Different Lover” focuses on the spiritual love between two people, rather than lust.
Taking influences classic Motown and soul and r&b from both 70s and 80s, the exhilarating production is enlivened by Adonis’ bass playing and multi-layered keyboards and vocals, giving a contemporary feel whilst still openly celebrating his influences.

Working on Mega Techno/Electro House tunes are second nature to American Musician Nej!Las, but this story has a different twist.
Nej!Las (her name is a semi-reversal of her given name of Jen Sal), a US based artist who founded a charity called Global Health Conscious, which has donated $2.5 million worth of medical aid to United Nation refugee camps across the Middle East, is now set to release a dark techno EP in November. Nej!Las has drawn from her experiences and past in which she had lived in two different countries, as well as eight different cities, while also having music already a prominent feature in her family with her father being a highly talented drummer, Nej!Las has broken into the Chicago Techno scene.
Jen has also been able to use her broad love for different musical composers, including Hans Zimmer, Boards of Canada and Deadmau5. This adds up to make a musically intriguing combination.
Confounding expectations, Modiwo have emerged from the shadows of the Carpathian Mountains to become one of the country’s breakout musical success stories, whilst also giving their time to support charity projects around the world. Initially forming in order to provide entertainment for local orphanages and retirement projects, demand for the band’s music grew to such a scale that they agreed to become a band in their own right.
Joining together musical forces from Romania, Ukraine, Moldova and Hungary, their unique anthemic dream-pop sound is embellished in their live shows with alpine horns, didgeridoos, and shakuhachi solos. Their latest track, “Never Give Up”, is an achingly blissful pillow of sunshine which brings to mind all the dreamiest elements of The Beloved.

Their work for charities has also seen them charge entry fees to their gigs in donations of fruit instead of cash – all the proceeds going to local orphanages.
